Their lead in the NL East dwindled to two games over the Mets with the finale of this three-game series coming Wednesday afternoon. Curtis Granderson, Ruben Tejada and Daniel Murphy hit consecutive run-scoring singles in the ninth inning for the Mets, who got two RBI from Wilmer Flores. Jacob deGrom (10-6) had eight strikeouts over six frames. He allowed three hits and a pair of runs, and threw 61 of his 82 pitches for strikes.
