Nike is becoming a joke in America

Nike announced that Colin Kaepernick, the ex NFL quarterback whose protest of the national anthem sparked the NFL players’ protest has been signed to a multiyear contract. 

He will be the face of Nike’s 30th anniversary campaign for the company’s “just do it” campaign.

This comes as the NFL is facing mounting criticism from the President and many fans over its handling of the players’ protests. 

Television ratings were down roughly 9% for preseason games. 

Kaepernick is also suing the NFL claiming that he has been blackballed. 

Will this new campaign further enrage fans? 

Even though it is Nike and not the NFL, will fans take their anger out on the NFL?


Our opinion is that the Nike brand is falling and they are losing business fast. This isn’t going to help. The Nike stock is falling and Americans are now turning against Nike. Good move Nike…
